Producer
Domaine de Castelnau is an ancient domaine whose roots can be traced back to the 13th century when it was owned by the Lord of Guers. Located on both the plains and rolling garrigue near Pézenas in the Picpoul de Pinet appellation, it is owned and run by Beatrice and Christophe Muret aided by their children. Concentrating on varietal wines and making only a small quantity of Picpoul de Pinet, there are 100 hectares in total which are farmed following lutte raisonné, keeping environmental impact to a minimum.

Winemaking
Machine harvested, pressed and fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts over 25 days at 16C. Matured 3 months on the fine lees with regular stirring before bentonite fining and bottling
