Producer
The Bodega was established in Autol in the Rioja Baja in the late 19th century by Don Joaquin Garralda Oñate, the Marques de Reinosa. The Bodega is now owned by the inhabitants of the village and it currently has 1,075 hectares of vines in this, the warmest region of Rioja. The winemaker is local oenologist Ana Rubio, who maintains a remarkable consistency of quality for such a large winery. The red wines sold under the Reinosa label are 100% Tempranillo, aged in American oak barrels, for three months in the case of the Joven wine, 12 months for the Crianza and 18 months for the Reserva. The Joven is bursting with ripe cherry fruit with a hint of oak spice, whilst the Reserva is a more mellow and savoury wine, packed with red forest fruits and vanilla oak. The white contains a majority of Tempranillo Blanco, an unusual mutation of the red variety and is unoaked.

After fermentation, the wine was matured on the lees in tank for 6 months prior to bottling.
