Waas Semillon 2023

An easy way into orange wine and a dangerously easy to drink one too. In the glass it’s light orange, with hints of pithy fruit and honey blossoms. Textured, with subtle tannins perfectly balanced by fresh notes of mandarin, apricots and creamy peaches. The finish is bright and acidic, leaving you wanting for more.

Naturally fermented and macerated on the skins with twice-daily punch downs to increase flavour and texture, before being put through a basket press. Once pressed, this juice is left to settle in tank before being transferred to concrete eggs and flexcubes, then into bottle. This is all about marrying the technique of skin maceration with brilliant drinkability to give a wine that’s textured and delicious.

Minimal sulphur added with just light filtering, certified with integrity and sustainability, and made without using harmful chemicals. Small batch production, spontaneously fermented with native yeasts, grapes are handpicked.
