Brillat-Savarin

£3.50£11.50

French, soft-ripened, triple cream cow’s milk cheese. Pasteurised, not suitable for vegetarians.
First created in 1890 it was renamed in the 1930’s, as an homage to 18th-century French gourmet and political figure Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin. As usual with soft-ripened triple cream cheese’s the resulting paste is utterly decadent; luscious, creamy and verging on spreadable. Produced in Burgundy, by the Lincet family, for the past 125 years.
