6Cepas6 is a great range that focusses on the fun and approachable side of Rioja. Rather than being over tannic, oaky or dry these wines are bold, fruity and exciting.
The grapes are pressed and left in contact with the skins to take a little colour before being sent of to tank. Post fermentation the wine is sent for three months to new french oak casks. This adds some back bone to the wine.
Strawberries, raspberries and cherries with fine toasty and spicy notes like clove, as result of the barrel aging. Deliciously creamy on the finish. This is summer in a glass!
